Renewable Energy Expo 2018 (REI 2018) with more than 750 exhibitors and over 35000 business visitors from 45 countries is considered an Asia’s largest and most influential event in the domain of renewable energies. As well as the previous editions, also this 12^th one, held from September 18-20, 2018 in India Expo Centre at Greater Noida near New Delhi, aimed to present the applications of renewable energy resources, showcase innovations, and present solutions to acute problems the market is encountering.


Knowing the Indian Renewables Market Pains Enabled ComAp to Score a Point

India is one of the leading countries with the significant generation of energy from renewable sources. India plans to achieve 66% share of solar and wind electricity generation mix by 2050. In the light of these facts, a team of an Indian subsidiary, opened earlier this year as a 10^th global subsidiary of ComAp, made a really good job in understanding this market and customer’s key pain areas, and then reflecting it in a proper offer presented at the fair.



“There is no single rooftop hybrid integration solution provider and ComAp was able to present rooftop hybrid solutions that meet real needs of the customers. Moreover, our solutions enable operation of PV in parallel with gensets of any make, which is one of the biggest obstacles here, at the moment,” stated Sandeep Chopra, President of ComAp India.

ComAp solutions bring customers substantial benefits in maximising solar energy generation, free remote monitoring and saving of diesel. “Majority of customers who visited ComAp’s stand were also interested in our remote monitoring and control solutions as in our control systems for hybrid on-grid and off-grid applications,” confirms Petra Píclová, ComAp’s Renewable Energy Segment Manager.
 

REI 2018 - A Good Stepping Stone to Bigger Presentation

Briefly, the presentation at REI 2018 started a new success story of ComAp. For next year, bigger presence is planned to prove even more clearly the ability of ComAp to offer much in request state-of-the-art yet cost effective solutions.
