Programmable Logic Controller
A Programmable Logic Controller, or PLC, is a simple computer used for automation of processes, and is built into ComAp controllers. PLCs are designed for multiple inputs and outputs, extended temperature ranges, immunity to electrical noise, and resistance to vibration and impact. In its basic form a PLC is a computer that repeats the same process over and over until it is commanded to stop.
ComAp’s has integrated our PLC tightly with our standard line of controllers; this has allowed the PLC editor to be a seamless experience directly in our programming software. Flexibility is at the core of our software design, this enables the PLC to meet simple application requirements or complex while using the same intuitive interface.
Benefit: By integrating what used to be several independent systems our customers can cut costs, minimize points of failure for advanced systems. The PLC is the one tool that allows you to overcome almost any challenge you encounter and deliver unique features to give you that edge over competition.
